Working together to reduce casualties

Moped links

Welcome to the moped page. Norfolk County Council have developed a presentation known as ‘Ped Safe’ that is taken into schools for year 11 students to address the common problems associated with of moped riding. It borrows heavily from the Bare Bones project created in Nottingham that addresses the most common issues of incorrect wearing of crash helmets, inadequate clothing and the most common road situations that riders face.

It also advises riders of the serious legal and financial implications of de-restricting mopeds.
