Information on licenses

Driving licence entitlement expires when you reach 70. To continue driving the entitlement will have to be renewed by the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA).  This requires completion of a medical declaration about your health and this process is repeated at 3 yearly intervals.  The DVLA provides a list of medical conditions which require disclosure though this does not mean that you will lose your licence but the DVLA may contact your GP for further information There may also be certain medical conditions that you need to disclose to your insurance company.
